Manage or delete your account

Change your details, and how account deletion, the recovery window, and reactivation work.

Your account details apply everywhere you sign in. Here’s how to manage them and, if you ever need to, how deletion works.

Your details and password

In Settings → Account you can see your name and email, and change your password. Changing your password signs out every other device, so only you stay in.

Deleting a workspace vs. deleting your account

These are different:

  • Delete a workspace removes that one workspace and its data, but your account stays.
  • Delete your account removes your entire account and every workspace you own.

How account deletion works

When you delete your account (Settings → Account → Delete account), it isn’t erased instantly. Instead:

  1. Your account is scheduled for deletion 30 days out and deactivated.
  2. During those 30 days you can log back in and reactivate with one click. Nothing is lost.
  3. After 30 days, everything is permanently erased: your workspaces, subscribers, campaigns, and media. This cannot be undone.

The only thing kept after erasure is the one-way suppression hashes of people who unsubscribed or complained. They exist purely so those people can never be re-emailed, and they can’t be turned back into email addresses.

Delete immediately

If you’d rather not wait, choose “Delete immediately” for permanent erasure with no recovery window.

Exporting your data first

Before deleting, you can export your subscribers and account data from Settings → Advanced → Your data. It’s always a good idea to keep a copy.
